A premium wooden piece designed to feel meaningful and display-worthy.

A piece of Kandy, carved into mahogany. Celebrate one of Sri Lanka’s most meaningful heritage destinations with the Kandy Heritage — Temple of the Tooth Mahogany Relief. The design brings together two instantly recognizable elements of Kandy: the historic Temple of the Tooth and the majestic Sri Lankan elephant. The scene is carved into solid mahogany, creating a dimensional relief where the architecture, elephant and surrounding details emerge naturally from the wood. Each piece is produced using precision CNC carving and then carefully sanded, polished and finished by hand at Elmwood Studio. The natural grain, colour and markings of mahogany mean that every carving has its own character — no two pieces will look completely identical. Its compact size makes it a meaningful decorative piece for a desk, shelf, display cabinet or gifting occasion without taking up too much space. Whether it reminds you of home, a visit to Kandy, Sri Lankan heritage, or simply your appreciation for traditional landmarks, this piece is designed to preserve that connection in wood.
